Dunn 2000 have been offering plant hire in Devon since the year 2000. We pride ourselves on our comprehensive service, wide range of plant machinery and fully trained operating staff. Plant hire doesn’t have to be confusing. We offer many different vehicles to suit your requirements, so if you’re unsure which one you might need, don’t hesitate to get in contact.
This guide describes some of the vehicles that we supply with suggestions for what projects you may need them for. This can be a great starting point for you to decide which plant hire you might need. Our service is all-inclusive, so you won’t need to worry about extra labour costs. An operator is included with all plant hires that we offer.
We can consult with you to decide which digger will be best suited to your project. All of our plant vehicles are supplied with a qualified operator, so you won’t need to worry about obtaining any staff or qualifications to conduct the work.
A mini digger is ideal for use on smaller scale projects. They can access hard-to-reach places that plant machinery cannot and can carry out site clearance, light demolition, landscaping and more.
Our heavy-duty excavators come complete with a variety of attachments. We can get just about any excavation job done with our machinery. A qualified member of our staff will operate the excavator to ensure that everything is done safely and efficiently.
Dumpers are useful for many projects and can help to manage project waste more efficiently.
A mini dumper is compact, and ideally suited for projects that are in places with restricted access. They are smaller than standard vehicles, so can be useful if you’re unable to access the site with a van. Mini dumpers can carry about ten times the amount that a wheelbarrow can, so it will significantly improve the efficiency of your waste disposal. You can load up the mini dumper with construction waste and carry the materials away.
A swivel dumpster can rotate the load by 90 degrees. This means it is more flexible to operate and can make loading more efficient. Because the load can be dumped to the side of the machine, they can be useful for filling in trenches or pouring materials into places that are hard to reach.
As the name suggests, straight tip dumpsters lift straight up to dispose of the load. These are great for getting large amounts of waste straight into a skip. They can carry large loads safely and a lot more quickly than a mini dumpster.
We know that health & safety is extremely important in the construction industry. All of our operators are Construction Industry Training Board qualified and have CPCS cards with the category of plant equipment that they operate. This means that you can trust Dunn 2000 to provide high quality equipment and a safe, efficient service. Our machinery undergoes extensive maintenance procedures to ensure that it’s always working to the highest standards.
